I'm believing either...
1. We're an experimental simulation.
2. We're some extinct civilization doomed to an endless never-changing continual loop.
3. An evolutionary planet on a continual loop until we evolve past ourselves.<(An egotistical supposition. As if we're better than all other inhabitants of the planet.)
4. Just a fluke. (I suppose in Discworld ideology, a planet on the back of an adult flounder, always gazing at the heavens with both eyes. Actually, that is completely fitting in so many ways.
A fluke. As in the fish, not the parasitic flatworm, which, though, is probably more apt as far as most species on this planet are, other than those few who are beneficial, in ways other than their death.
5. All or none of the above.
(I have more, but am keeping it at the 5 fingers basis.) :/
All of the above is/are my opinionated opinions.
