on Switch.
The following are just my comments thus far.
Not gotten very far, though. May update as I advance.
The following are just beginning observations and my personal thoughts.
If you are not familiar with the game they will be pretty much meaningless, or perhaps interest you enough to play it.

Firstly, I believe what is called the 'Sheikah Slate' is the Hyrule word for smart phone.
The Sheikah, who created it, were a highly advanced, though now apparently extinct, race.
There's a lesson to be had there.
Secondly. the old man (note long white beard and 'stache) who intermittently confronts Link, is Santa.
I am 1% or more, sure of this.
He tries covering it by leaving out one 'ho', and reversing the first by saying 'Oh' but he's not fooling me with his 'Oh ho'.
And btw, Santa was a wizard in case you didn't know. Think about it.
Yup, he just said 'Oho ho'.
I rest my case....until further notice.
The game's afoot!
Thirdly, the Oman Au Shrine goddess is possibly Yaddle, or even a severely dehydrated Jedi Master Yoda and not a goddess at all. Of the same species at least. She/he/it bestows a Spirit Orb, which Santa wants, at the completion of the Magnesis Trial (Link having been given the Magnesis Rune, which I think Magneto himself would envy. Maybe, maybe not.)
So say I.
This has nothing to actually do with the game per se, it just brings back childhood memories of my grandmother's home in upstate Pennsylvania, the Pocono Mountains and the Scrantonian extremely steeped backyards.
Did I mention I'm afraid of heights....and just about everything else, especially ghosts? Oh, and humans, too. And ghosts of humans that refuse to allow their energy to move on.
Yeah. If not there'd be ghosts of dinosaurs, too....checks glass of water for ghostly ripples...energy will find a way?

And so ends this installment (as if there will be further, though I am sure there shall be) of my adventures in saving Hyrule once again.
*shakes fist at sky* Damn you, Ganon! Damn you to Hell!
I'm done. For now.
Back to the peaceful, yet menacing, Isle of R'lyeh.
