Purportedly haunted by the author himself!
Not related, though it somewhat is, a friend recently told me that the singer, Marc Bolan never learned to drive, fearing a premature accidental death, yet it states in a Wikipedia article 'despite this fear, cars or automotive components are at least mentioned in, if not the subject of, many of his songs. He also owned a number of vehicles, including a white 1960s Rolls-Royce that was loaned by his management to the band Hawkwind on the night of his death.'
He did, in fact, die in an automobile accident on the 16th of September in 1977, two weeks before his 30th birthday. He was killed, the driver of the car was not. Apparently they had been drinking.
Was he struggling with an irrational fear, or was it a premonition?
Or, can fearing something so strongly, cause it to happen?
Anyway, Johnny Depp kinda resembles him (imo)-
Back to the original post. I dunno how I'd feel about living in a house that was reported as being haunted. I do like old houses. They already have character, history, but then a new house is just waiting for someone to imbue it with life.
And ghosts? I believe there is something to it. Some, as I've mentioned before, may be simply residual naturally occurring 'recordings'. Others, well, think about it, if energy cannot be created or destroyed? I leave that with you.....
I've mentioned before how much I love water, how maybe it is some primal memory, either of the womb or even much, much farther back, imprinted on my being. Who knows? Anyway, if you swim, it's almost like flying. It's amazing how gravity keeps the greater waters 'attached' to the earth, yet it does not affect what swims within in it. Yes, scientifically we know why, but that makes it no less impressive. The displacement of water and such. Physics.
Our lungs being air bladders, guess sort of like fish. They take in oxygen, too, just 'their gills extract this oxygen gas out of the water and return CO2 just as our lungs do.'
