Gene Roddenberry (original creator of Star Trek) wrote them (below), not to be used in the series, but simply to boldly receive payment for half of the song’s performance royalties as co-composer. Or so it goes.

Firstly is Star Trek: Enterprise (2001–05)
Lastly is 'Star Trek: Discovery', or ST:D for short. (Captain Kirk knows what I'm inferring *wink wink nod nod*).
I honestly do not know much about it. Discovering alien 'love' and how to protect oneself?
That should be interesting. The doctor aboard should have detailed procedures with all known encountered races/species. Hey, whatever floats your starship. I don't judge.
