Just because I like the film LOTR (and the books foremost.) The CGI in the first (except, from what I've seen in these, Gollum, who is a fave of mine...except, of course, for the murdering his friend and all, I kinda felt sorry for him. He paid his dues for his greed through the near complete corruption from the ring) is not up to par with LOTR, imo, but since I am a stalwart Tolkien fan, I will go see it nonetheless. Plus I like dragons :) Very much, in fact.
Jackson probably could have done it in one film, (plus he's taken a lot of liberties...Kate, from 'Lost', some elf?...although, a few of those Dwarves are rather hot! :)
