THEY'RE JUST GAMES! <(please, hard corers, don't punch me in the mouth for saying that.)
Everyone knows in real life genders are equal *rolls eyes*
but these are JUST GAMES!
So what they are trying to say is a party of men is sexist.
What does that have to say about my beloved Hobbit and Lord of the Rings Trilogy? The Fellowship?
Maybe, in the end, it should have been revealed that Gimli was actually a female dwarf, and everyone simply assumed she was a male?
Of course, that was written in a different time period and things
have changed since then....
Anyway, in the Final Fantasy games I've played, most of the guys looked rather feminine, so just use your imagination. That's what it's for.
Maybe, when time travel is a reality, they should go back and give the choice of playing iconic game characters such as Link or Linkette.
Mario and/or Luigi could just be hairy Italian women (no offense
to Italian women :)
And then there are some that get their panties in a wad when games that
do give a choice of gender, such as Dragon Age, allow same gender romance.
There is just no way to please everyone. *sigh*
Rant over.
The Day After-
Yeah, that was pretty harsh about hairy Italian women. I apologize. There are hairy Greek women, too......:)
ok, so I take it all back, I was just in a mood and it's over now,
remember, to forgive is divine, and speaking of Divine, he is on our fridge :)
Guess that might be the true test. If you do it without resentment.
