Seriously, sometimes a father must be both if they are a single parent, same goes, single mothers must be fathers, too, but this is not Father's Day. Grandparents, aunts, sisters, can all be the caregivers depending on the situation, and raise a child/children. Sometimes even when they have parents, sadly. I dunno what would have happened to me without my grandparents.
A mother might give birth but it does not automatically make them a Mother, the 'mothering' does, regardless of who is at the receiving end, imo.
