Maybe it will do us good if we find other intelligent life out there, because then, perhaps, we will all consider ourselves ‘Earthings’.
At least for awhile. Before inter-planetary settlement. Then, I wonder, even if they (and their children and their children’s children and so forth) become citizens of Earth, if they will still associate themselves with their ‘home’ planet? I guess then we would all have to call ourselves Universalites or something. Dunno.
Maybe they will think like us? Just so they don’t consider us a food source, as we do other living things. Of course, we have no choice. Everything, at least here on earth, must eat something else.
K, completely went off topic, and anyway, that’s all I have to say about any of this.
So, is division a good thing? I suppose, if it is a guaranteed beneficial separation for all persons/parties involved, but I really don't know. And is there anything that is completely guaranteed?
I am, and probably will forever be, confused by human reasoning in general.)
