World’s Most Expensive Restaurant to Charge $2,000 per Person per Meal
OK, so maybe I'm just in a mood. The actual idea of the restaurant itself, with the virtual light show, and moving pictures projected on the tabletops (unless you are sensitive and get, say, motion sick easily, which, in this case, would not be good) controlled by an operator who watches diners and changes the lighting or scene accordingly, sounds sort of interesting, I'll admit (though I'm more the type to eat to survive rather than survive to eat, and the 'controller watching me eat' part would make me feel rather uncomfortable), it's the point of the cost, when there are so many people in the world that barely have enough to eat, if not literally starving to death.
Unless, of course, all those commercials of bloated-bellied malnourished children which are 'fed' to us through the media is a bunch of crap just to get us to eat our vegetables. <(sarcasm)
Of course, we can't save everyone, now can we? <(more sarcasm)
What is wrong with humankind?
Maybe I'll make a list (and I don't count myself any better than the next person. I'm just as much to blame....though I do eat my vegetables. All except mushrooms.)
