Front of same shirt, also done with textile marker,
of Schiele quote on pocket and I copied his signature....
(does that make me a forger?)
On the shirt pocket it reads:

und Kunst. Zweck ist Natur -
aber ist Gott, und ich
empfinde Ihn, stark, sehr stark,
am stärksten.

A maximum of emotion stands religion
and art. Nature's purpose -
but there is a God, and I can
perceive strong, very strong,
the strongest.
The highest feelings are religion and art. Nature's purpose; but there is God, and I feel it strong, very strong, the strongest. , ,

This, and the next two, are comic characters I've created.
They are 'superheroes'.
I have somewhat of a storyline made up (at least a background of the characters.)
They are drawn by hand in pencil, then gone over in sharpie and
scanned into Photoshop and coloured.
(I'm really not that good with drawing comics.)

I'm just getting into sketching comic/toons. This is just a pencil sketch of an idea,
haven't called it anything.

'Here I stand, foot in hand, talking to my wall
I'm not quite right at all
Don't set me free, I'm as helpless as can be
My libido's split on me
Gimme some good 'ole lobotomy'
(Something I sketched while listening to Bowie.
My scanner is not scanning correctly, it keeps
making shadows where there are none :(
It looks better in person.)

I like drawing portraits best of all.
Guess I like faces.
Been still trying my hand at comic-style drawing but I'm still not good at it. Here is my latest. He has a background
story, kinda, too. I started by doing a pencil sketch, then scanned it into photoshop and outlined it. I just did what was supposed to be a varied sepia look (the background is from a photograph), but don't really like it so think I will try colouring it. Will post it in colour when I finish it.
Pencil Sketch
Scanned then outlined in photoshop (with some tweaking done),erased my pencil lines
(there was to be a scar on his right cheek, which you can see in the original sketch,
that I did not carry over into photoshop)

His story-
'My name is Sinjinn L'Corruttore. I was given the sobriquet, 'Gin', a bit of jest, as I never touch the
stuff though have bought many a round in my time. It is, in truth, coined from 'jinn', but I prefer Sin, for short.
I am employed by an ever warring realm as, shall we say, a recruiter of sorts, but I've grown
bored, or is it a conscience? Never the mind, I now work independently....for a price, of a different sort.'
Wanted to make him sort of a demon (guess I'm playing way too much Shin Megami Tensei IV :) that when
killed, or he offs himself, is simply resurrected in a different form, sometime human, sometimes not. It's been done before I'm sure, just like I suppose everything has, only updated and given a personal individual's twist.

Sorry about the condition, I just found it again in the basement. I painted it for my gramps, and he had it hung over his workbench. I used to go fishing with him and one time he caught the above crappie (a.k.a. papermouths, strawberry bass, speckled bass or specks, speckled perch, calico bass, sac-a-lait and Oswego bass.)
It was still alive when we got home and I wouldn't let him kill it, so he said to put it in the wash basin (in the basement) figuring it would be dead by morning, but it didn't die. I fed it and it lived the whole week and so I insisted we take it back to the lake and release it. Which we did.
I named him Charlie.
(Actually, the water damage sort of looks kinda cool maybe?)

This is the Leprechaun I drew on paper then scanned and coloured in photoshop for the recipe I posted on St. Patrick's Day.
Was in a hurry then to get it up before the day ended, and did not like the way the eyes looked, so redid
them (in photoshop just a little while ago). Dunno that I even like these. Oh well, comics and tunes are not really my forte I guess.

This was my very first attempt at using watercolour seriously. I used to much water and overworked the paper to the point of breaking it down. I've not had lessons so I learn the hard way by trial and error.
It's the phantom of the opera, btw.

Been doing some sketching. They have stories behind them that perhaps I'll add at a later date. Like my clay figures, the characters I create were there already, I only helped them into being. Almost like a midwife.
Sorry for the poor quality of photos. They were taken with my phone that seems to be dying.

A scene from the Opera. Warning, graphic language, blood and gore.
Random sketch. Was originally going to be incorporated into my 'For the Birds' story. Anyways, I call him Pismire-Man. Rather like some mix of Ant-man and Brundlefly. .
