feng shuing, move bed, try getting up on right side?
Geezus, I wonder if it has something to do with politics? Getting out of bed on the left or right side? Left has meanings other than direction, and can be kind of negative (like 'he left me without a word', 'I was left out', etc.), and then there's all those superstitions and negativity about left handed people.
Must be even worse if you are a ginger lefty!
Right? Right.
Right, other than direction, seems to have much more positivity about it.
Maybe someone needs to make up new words to replace the directions, you know like the whole Metric System vs Imperial/Standard System (and from what I've read, the French were the first to adopt the Metric System in the 1790s, other countries followed, but some, like the UK, not officially until 1965, and of course, it has not been adopted here in the US. But, as I mentioned before, I don't know the equivalents of the other, like ounces=pounds anyway and have to look it up when cooking/baking :| Yep, I'm that lame when it comes to anything dealing with mathematics of any kind. I think I just have a mental block and my brain goes numb when discussing things that require math *sigh*)
Sorry about all the above. This is not about that, it's about rethinking what I said yesterday about tolerance. Tolerance can be a good and/or bad thing, I just didn't know what other word to use. For instance, should we be tolerant of bigots, racism, abuse, things like that? I say NO, but then there are rights<(there's that word again), both civil and moral. Or something.
Like everyone should have the freedom to express themselves, their 'pursuit of happiness' yadda, yadda, yadda, so where does one draw the line on just what is and is not tolerable?
*SIGH* Humans have made life so complicated. I'm so confused. Just when I think I've found some answers.....
Maybe it's twins! But not a fetus in fetu!
Guess I'm racist against myself. Because I am of the human race. :\
(Yeah, it makes sense in my head....)
